    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    There was a forge in Grenagh, Co Cork eighty years ago and is standing this present day. It is owned by Mr. Harte who is still living. The forge is near the Grenagh road.
    He makes gates, ploughs, harrows, spades, shovels and pikes. He mends all sorts of iron instruments. At the time of the Great War he used make spears and shields and he was a very important.
    In Mr M Donovan's land Rockhill, Grenagh, there were two lime kilns. Long ago the lime stone was brought from Copstown, Mallow and burned in these kilns.
