  1. Belgrove:- There was a big garden belonging to Mr. Gumbleton and in this garden was a big bell that used to be rung at dinner hour. Around the garden was a grove and hence that is how it got its name.
    Glenmore:- It is so called because there is a big glen there.
    Carraig Ruadh:- This place is on the West side of Cuskinny. The whole place around it is all red rock and that is how it got its name.
    Ashgrove:- This is so called because a lot of ash trees grew in it.
    Eastgrove:- It is so called because it is the farthest East place in the Island.
    Walterstown:- It got its name because there was a man called walter once living there.
