  1. Spinning:- A woman by the name of Mrs Anne Wilson of Morlogue used to spin thread between the 1838 and 1901, and she died in the year 1908. She was then 90 years of age.
    Weaving:- There was a weaver in Carrigloe about 60 years ago by the name of Patrick Russell and his wife used to spin the thread for him. Miss Polly Lucey of Ballybrassil used to weave cloth in the year 1889.
    Weaving:- Mrs Nora Walsh who lived in Ballyilane was seen weaving cloth in the year 1884.
    Candle Making:- A woman by the name of Mrs Higgins who lived in Morlogue about the year 1892, used to make candles
    Basket Making:- John Barry was able to make baskets. He lived in Ballybrassil in the year 1897.
    A man by the name of Michael Wilson of Walterstown used to make baskets about the year 1888.
    Jim Walsh was a famous basket
