  1. The names of local roads are. The quay road leading form Mr Bowdren's Cross to Slatty. The roads were made hundreds of years ago before the railways were built. There is a road going beyond Mr Ahern's and it is called the Mollawn. There is a road going up to the Junction and it is called Killahora road. Gleann na Phooka road leading from Tullagreine and going up beyond Mr Barretts
