  1. A FUNNY STORY
Once upon a time a man lived in Moygue called Bowles and he used to beat any man passing through his land. One day a Kerryman came looking for work and he was passing Bowles land and the latter saw him and carried him up to the yard and cut his ears off with a shears. When the man went home he told his brother who met Bowles and gave such a beating that he never got up again.
