    the mission would only be completed when she met 9 white deer. She travelled on and came to Máigh Mór (Abby's Well). She lived there for 9 years and then travelled on to Mushra where she saw 5. She travelled on and came to Ballyvourney where she met the 9 white deer. She built her church there and she blessed all round her within a radius of 2 miles to banish the great Plague then prevalent.
    It is told that a regiment of soldiers were pillaging the country-side one day and she marched against them with a hive of bees and banished them.
