  1. About 200 yards north of Dromahane can be seen the ruins of a large house. This was once the home of Tom Russell one of the Fenians. While he lived there one of the bedrooms was never used because it was said to be haunted. One night one of the guests saw the figure of a woman dressed in black walk along the hall towards a certain room.
    No none of the guests were dressed in black, he followed her to the room. She went into the room, the man following. But when he reached the room, she disappeared. Thinking it was his imagination, he told no one of what he saw.
    On the following morning the porter said that on the evening before, he saw a lady dressed in black cross
