  1. Vicarstown *
    1
There is a charming place in Inniscarra,
Its the sweetest spot for miles around,
That God may keep all care and sorrow from Vicarstown.
    11
The fields are green and decked with daisies,
You'll be elated if you call round.
In the summer time when the air is perfumed,
With the musk of roses in Vicarstown.
    111
When birds are filling the air with music,
The lark and linnet and thrush so brown.
And the hives are filled with the sweetest honey,
In the shady gardens of Vicarstown.
    *Otherwise Matehy.
