And if you found a light coloured one you would be married to a light-haired girl. If you met a foxy woman on may Day you would be lucky for the year. And if you met a black haired girl on May Day you would be mislucky for the year.

He was eating his breakfast and he told him to go out and milk a cow and he never thought that it was May Day morning for it was said that if a neighbour milked a cow first he would have the produce of the year.
