Although she is little her family is great
Rise up landlady and give us a "trate,"
As I went up through Leaca Bhuidhe I spied my wran upon a tree,
Up with my cubit and I gave her a fall,
And I brought her here to visit ye all.
I have given the full version of the Ballydehob Wren song at end of book as sung about 40 yrs ago. A number of verses are omitted in the song at the present day.
