Married in pink your wishes will sink. - A matchmaker named Timothy Hegarty known as Tadhg an Túirín lived in Mount Gabriel about forty or fifty years ago. He lived in a small little thatched house at the bottom of the hill between Glaun and Mount Gabriel. He used to go from house to house making matches, and he used to get five pounds from the people he used to make the match for, and if he would not he would recover it by law.
