- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)and grandfather of the present O' Callaghan who is now sixty years of age arranged a search party. They were to dig for the gold at midnight in Walls yard because of a dream a friend of O' Callaghan had about the treasure hidden there. One life was lost in the search. As they were about to set out Mrs. O' Callaghan begged them to abandon the search and they did as she asked. Thirty years ago a party from Bealnablath tried their luck in this place, knocking a tree and a part of the ditch in their search for treasure.
