  1. There is a treasure supposed to be hidden down there in James Byrne's field. Many a time people have seen lights in the field. People believe that if you pass at two o'clock on November night you will see a big gold crock and two horses minding it. No one ever made an effort to get it. One night two men decided to go to the place where the gold was but they were led astray. No, not while you are alive will it ever be got. No one knows who hid it there but I suppose it was hid by some person who was afraid it would be stolen.
