    The following are the names of the fields at home...

    Seana-Scoil:- As there was a school in that field in the olden times. The long field as it is the longest field in the farm. An Páirch Caol:- As it is a very small field. The high field:- As it is in the top of a hill. Páirch na Saillíer:- As sally trees are growing in the field. Páirch na h-Abhann:- As there is a river flowing through the field. Páirch na Sgeithe:- As sgeach trees are growing in the ditches of the field. Páirch na Tolátháin:- As toláthans are in the field.
    There is only one river flowing through our land and that is An Caol. It is called An Caol as the river is very narrow in many parts. It separates Lissane from Tooreen.
