    in the town-land and very few hills and few rivers, some of the land is covered with wood. There are 2 rivers flowing through it namely the Glen and the Rúguc.

    The names of the fields in my mothers farm are...

    The name's of the fields in my mothers farm are the Inse : - the field near the river, Pairc an tighe : - the field of the house. Páirc an tobair : - it got its name from the well that is in it. Páirc na bport : - the field of the bog. Páirc na claise : - the field of the lag or hollow. The fields got their names long ago when Irish was a spoken language.

    The names of the fields on my father's farm are :- Pairc an thige which means the field of the house. Pairc an tobair, the field of the well, Pairc na claise, the field of the laig or hollow. Pairc na ngamhann, the field of the calves.
