The children stand in a ring, and one child will sit in the centre. The others will say: "Sally, Sally Walker, sprinkle on the pan,
Rise, Sally rise, choose [a] young man,
Choose to the east and choose to the west,
And choose to the very one you love best".
Then she chooses someone outside. The last person chosen is to go in next.4 Statues
A line of children stand away from a wall while stands near the wall with his back to the others. The one near the wall counts aloud up to ten while the others attempt to reach the wall during the interval of counting. Should anyone be caught moving after ten has been counted that person must return to the starting point again. The counting continues until someone reaches the wall. That person then counts while all return to the starting point again.(continues on next page)
