  1. When the people were standing at the foot of the Cross during Our Lord's Crucifixion a little robin appeared and began pulling at the nails in His hands and feet.
While the robin was doing this blood from Our Lord fell on its breast and from that day to this the robin has a red breast.
Once Our Lord was playing with other little boys. They were making swallows from the mud after heavy rain. One little boy hit Our Lord's swallow and broke it and began to laugh. Our Lord blessed the piece of mud and the mud swallow flew away as if it were a real swallow. The other boys were very frightened at this and did not interfere with Our Lord any more.
