    had given communion to the father and mother, the child took the host and then spat it out on the rail cloth. The father thought for a while and then said to the priest that he had sent him to a Protestant school in Ireland while he came to France to make a living and he had left a nurse in charge of him.
    Then the priest said to the father " the nurse must have sent him to a Protestant Church". So she did. Then the child had to be baptised.
    Another story is told of a woman who was in jail for having drowned her two months old son in a lake near Kilkelly
