  1. A story is told about a woman who was married to a Protestant and they had a son two years old.
    After a year or so the father sent the son to a Protestant school and then sent for a nurse to mind the child while he went abroad, and while he was in that country he turned and became a good Catholic. A few years later he sent for his son to Ireland. The nurse sent him to them. They met him at some station in France.
    The next Sunday they brought him to mass and when it was time for communion the father and mother and child went up to the rails. When the priest
