    Continued,
were two beds in the kitchen.
One of them was small and it was called a settle-bed. It was placed another side of the house. The furniture of the kitchen consisted of a dresser, a table, a bed or two, a few stools, and two wicker chairs for the old people to sit on.
Those chairs were usually made by the creelmakers of this district. The furniture of the room was not much different to that of the kitchen. There were two iron beds six cane chairs and a table. The furniture of long ago was different to that of the present day.
