  2. Churning is the process of turning milk into butter. The milk is allowed to stand for some time in shallow pans and then the cream is churned.
    We have a churn at home which is fixed on a stand. There are four wheels attached to the stand which allow the churn to revolve. It is worked by a handle screwed
