  1. There is a Fairy Fort in John Clancy's hill in the townland of Trimalawn, Ballintogher, Co. Sligo. In olden times there was a man named Devaney passing by the fort with a creel of turf from the bog and he saw a crock of gold and he put a knot on a bunch of rushes as a mark. When he came back all the rushes around the hillside were knotted and he could not find the place where the crock was.
