  1. There was once a beggarman who used get lodging from the people now and again. He also carried a black thorn stick with him. He fell ill in this house and he could not leave the bed but he always kept the stick under his pillow. After some time he died and before he died he told the people of the house to put the black thorn stick into the coffin with him. Everybody was wondered at this request and before putting it in they broke it in two halves and inside it was filled up with soverings.
