  1. There was a sod house in Drumee bog. John Reynolds lived in it. The roof was made sticks and scraws and the chimney was also made of scraws. There was a flag behind the fire keeping it from burning the scraws.
    There was a bed in the corner known as a pouch. There were no windows in the house and therefore the people had no light except the light of the door. The candles they used was made of rushes dipped in grease.
