  1. There is only one ruined castle in the district.
    It is situated in the townland of Meemlough, in the Parish of Killoran in the Barony of Leyny and in the county of Sligo.
    It had not a dungeon.
    There is a ruined church in the neighbour hood, it was not plundered it contained no carvings on the door way.
    There is a few ornamented stones in the vicinity's.
