    The hungry road leading from Leyny to Tierragh.
    The Ladie's Brae leading from Tierragh to Leyny.
    There is only one very old road in the district and it is called Bruen's road.
    It is not now in use
    Roads were made as a means of relief during the famine period.
    There is only one path in our district and it was called Carrownaboney path.
    Rivers were crossed by means of fords at shallow places, there is one ford in this district it is situated in Knocknagleer.
