    When Saint Columba got ashore on the white strand of Iona a flounder raised its head out of the water and said mockingly:-
    "O Saint of the hoardy head". Columba replied "If I'm a hoardy head may you be a wry mouth and may your two eyes be on the temple and that is how the flounder got its crooked mouth.
