    Age , 74 yrs.
About 200 years ago an old man lived up at the mountains in the town of Kingsmountain and the parish of Templeboy. He kept a casket of gold but he pretended to his neighbours that he was very poor, and often he begged from his neighbours. He hid the casket near a large rock beside the Clossac River.
When he was over eighty years of age he became very ill and died. He told nobody where his gold was hidden. A neighbour's daughter had a dream one night in which she thought she saw the casket og Gold; and the next night she dreamt the same thing.
When she went out the next day she met a cousin and told him of her dream. She asked him to meet her the next night. At night fall she set out with a spade for the place seen in the dream. She searched till she found the gold but could not remove it.
