    Prenderville. These people died some years ago and their houses were allowed to ruin and fall and no trace of them remains. There did very few people go to America from this townland in former years. The names of those who emigrated are Philip Reidy, John Reidy, Mary Griffin and Mary Sullivan. There is no stream or wood or lake in Ballintoher. The land in my townland is good and fertile, there being little marsh land in it.
