  1. (continued from previous page)
When all her faithful, fearless, sons may join in one great voice.
And from the hilltops of the earth proclaim her Liberty.
With mottos on the banners green,
    Old Ireland must be free,
    The other sports and pastimes,
Where all so grand and fine,
they well deserve the praises of a pen more skilled than mine.
Then as the evening spred her shades upon the scenes so merry,
I thought of my beloved at home, and started for the ferry.
