  1. There was a man one time named Richard Arnold. He lived in Cullies Carrigallen. He was as swift as any hound. One day a crowd of hounds and horsemen went to rise a fox. They put up the fox in Aughavore. The fox started for Belturbet and went down Belturbet street. Arnold kept in with the hounds the whole way. When the horsemen were going down the street, they met Arnold coming up the street with the dead fox on his back, Which the hounds had killed.
