    John T. Flaherty, Gurtdromagowna, Knockanure who is now aged 41 yrs. was the swiftest 100 yds. runner here. He ran it in 12 seconds at the Knockanure sports in 1918.
    Great mowers: -
    Michael Barry, Gurtdromagowna Knockanure who is now aged 72 yrs. mowed an acre in a day in 1926.
    Great Swimmers: -
    John Dunne, Dromurhur Knockanure who is now aged 30 yrs. swam across the Gale in a big flood, when the bridge was broken down in 1922.
    Great dancers: -
    Peter Hennesy Gurtdromagowna, Knockanure who is now aged 34 yrs. is now in Sligo is a great dancer.
