    Cow's water was a cure. It was called "the water of all flowers".
    To scrape the skin off the elder tree and boil it in water was another cure.
    Sore throat: -
    To boil the bark of the oak tree, and mix it with alum was a cure for this.
    Sore hand: -
    If you robbed a bird's nest you would get a sore hand and the cure for it was a plaster of cow-dung to be put on it.
    Craos galar: -
    To get a gander and put him in a box, and when morning would dawn
