  1. Burning: -
    John Stack, Kilmorna, was burned in his own house about the year 1915. He went to bed and forgot to quench a candle which he had lighting near the bed. He slept away and the bed clothes caught fire and he was burned to death. He was living in a separate house from his son and before the people of the house realised what had happened, he was burned to ashes. He was aged 70 years.
