    1. As I went over Westminster bridge, I met a Westminster scholar. He walked by his cane, "and drew" by his gloves, who will tell me the name of the scholar.
    Ans. Andrew.
    2. Idir dhá cnoc do chuala glór, d'fhéuchas siar is ní fhaca aon tóir.

    3. Eleven "pairs" hanging high,
    Eleven men passed by,
    Each man took a "pear",
    Still there were eleven there. How was that?
    Ans. Each man took only one pear, and there were 22 there at first, that is eleven "pairs" of "pears".
