When he was going he took the pot with him.At night when the man returned from his work he refused to eat his supper, until his mother would tell him where she got the meal. She would not tell him but told him to dress up in her clothes next day and see what would happen.In the morning he did as his wife had told him and she went out into an out-house herself. When the man came next day he recognized the husband he threw the pot from him and went away. The wife then came in and when she saw what had happened she was filled with anger.After this they were as poor as before. A year after these events the same man came again but this time he carried a small pot of gold.
