  2. Food.
    Gidley:- Fresh sheep milk is heated on the fire and oatmeal is added when quite hot. This food is cooked the same as "scailtin" and it forms excellent food.
    Soidin:- Some oatmeal is mixed with sugar and put into a vessel. A small quantity of hot water is added. This mixture is left in the vessel for a quarter of an hour. Then some milk is added
