    working men. One day a man passed Browne's door and he had a stick and a can. Browne asked him what had he. He put the stick in the can to see had he any meat.     So then the next man came and he was vexed over the can and the stick and he replied.

    As there were no work houses here that time the people used have to go to Castlerea and when they would be gone the landlords used knock their houses
