    7. There is another village called "Pairc Ruadh" because there is boggy land there and the heath is of a red colour.
    8. "Baile na gCoileach" because a priest was once passing on a sick-call at daybreak and all the cocks began to crow and he called it that name.

    10. Goirtin Bothair because it is near the road.
    11. "Cualaimin" because it is away by itself.
    12. "Poirse Bothair" It is a little road and it is said that the Leipreachain was seen there once.
