   There was a man who lived in Glenfarne (5 miles from Kiltyclogher). His name was Micky Walls. One day he and two neighbours were working on a road. A messenger came out of a house nearby and called in one of the men to his dinner. The other man said to Micky "Those people are very mean. They never gave anyone a bit to eat yet" "Oh! well" said Micky "I am going up to the house now and I bet you what you like, I'll get my dinner." "I bet you a bob you won't" said the man "but let me in before you to light my pipe. You might play tricks." "Alright" said Micky. "I bet they ask me to eat a bit." The man went into the house and said to the woman "Here is Micky Walls coming up the lane, pretent you don't know him." Micky came in and sat down. "You are a stranger in these parts" the man of the house said. "I am" said Micky. "Where
