  2. One time an Irishman, an Englishman and a Scotchman were looking for a job and could get none. One day, they were very far from any house and they had only what bread would make a meal for one man. They decided that whoever had the nicest dream could eat the bread. When they woke up in the morning, each one told the dream he had. The Englishman said, "I dreamt that I was back with my father on the farm, in England, where I had plenty to eat and drink, and plenty of money. The Scotchman said that he dreamt that he was back in Scotland working in a coal-mine earning six pounds a week and had plenty to
