  2. There are many old houses in the district. There are two old houses in the townland of Ballimabella and in the parish of Cappatagh, the names of the are, Hyness old house, this old house is very old it is a thatched house it is broken down nowadays. There is another old house in the district, it is called Martins. There is no body living there nowadays. Houses were mostly thatched.
