- In olden times when the people used to have the whooping cough they used to take the food that a ferrit would leave after him to be cured. To put a frog into a bottle was another cure for the whooping ocugh and every time and every time they would smell the drog and after a while the cough would be cured.
If a child never saw its father it has a cure for soar mouth. To cure a toothache never shave on a Sunday. If a child is born on Christmas morning it has a cure for some ailement. - Collector
