    and that is the reason why the road got its name.
    Long ago all the people of Cloonbar came up to Caherlistrane to Mass. The way they came was up by the Beaghmore farm and out at Farrington's. That way was called Bóithrin an Aifrinn.
    Bóithrín Sean Baile Nuaidh was on the Beaghmore farm between Paddy Lee's and Rick Naughton's. It was leading into the village called Sean Baile Nuadh.
