  1. Once there was a man who had nothing to eat and he went to a fair with a cow one day. He met the police half way. They had a man and they were bringing him to jail. The man asked them what did that man do wrong. They said he did so much wrong that his cow would not release him. He asked them would she release him and at last they said she would. The prisoner came home with the other man and the second man asked the other where was he coming. He said he was going along with him home. He said he had as business home with him as he had nothing to eat. "What harm" said the other man. "I'll go along with you"
They went on to the other man's home and when he went home the children were searching his pockets for sweets. When he went to his wife asked him for some money to go to the shop. He said "Thats the price of the cow" pointing to the man.
The woman of the house caught the thongs and was going to kill him. The other man bed her to stop. At night he asked her had she a bag. He went out and brought in a bag of turf.
