31-3-38 How the hole was put in the statue of the Blessed Virgin
The statue was in the grave-yard and one day the devil saw it. He wanted to break it. He went into the grave-yard and got a brick to break it, and when he was about to throw the brick he tripped over another brick and fell towards the statue. He had his hands out and he put his finger through the statue. The statue is now in the chapel and the hole can be seen in the back it.
