    Place Names
Many years ago there was a Bull ring where Bullock quarry now is A man whose name was Mr Flynn owned the ring. He was very rich and paid men to catch wild bulls. He would challenge anyone to get on the back of a bull. One man tried to get on a bull's back but the bull trampled on him and he was killed. After this the ring was closed and the place where the ring was was called Bullock.
