  1. The Lady's Well
    Years ago the people were supplied with water from wells. The poor people had to carry the water themselves and the sick paid for the water to be brought to their houses. There were many wells in Dalkey which are now filled in except one called "Lady'sWell' which was recently closed to the Public. The 'Lady'sWell' is situated off the Convent Road near the Convent and was first owned by a family named Cullen. When the owner died it was left to a daughter who was called the 'Lady' by the neighbours. For years the well was known as
