    -38 Shipwreck
About 50 years ago there was a shipwreck at the Mugglins. Four men left Coliemore Harbour to set fishing lines. Three of them were brothers and the other man an uncle. They set off to set their lines when they were washed on to the Mugglins rocks. The boat was washed up at Dolly mount and the coast guards found it. It was bought by another crew from Clontarf and they went out and were drowned by the same boat. Not one out of the two crews was got yet.
