    Now the moths of brown & speckled wing,
    Summon the guests to the dancing ring,
    A bull frog, big in swolen chops,
    Into the ring now quickly hops.
    And opens the dance on the velvet green,
    with a scraggy bat in a crinoline,
    His clammy arms about her middle
    Footing the turf to the time of a fiddle;
    And how he rolls his goggle eyes!
    And how his leathern partner sighs.
    Next a rat from a fallen house,
    His congee makes to a lady - mouse
    Bristling in beard, with a material air,
    Then clasps for the waltz his blushing fair;
